So... as you've gathered, we've gone all Gallic with one of our most recent projects.

L'Occitane, the globally gorgeous skincare and beauty brand, has been in touch with the So... Visualise family once again following the success of the social media wall creation.

To say we were chuffed is a bit of an understatement. In fact, we couldn't be more proud if we tried!

Now if you love shopping and you adore immersive retail experiences, then keep reading. As you probably know if you're a regular reader of our blog, L'Occcitane has its roots in Provence, the idyllic region of France synonymous with row after row of bunched, fragrant, heady lavender.

So... from this inspiring region, move your mind to London, one of the world's most iconic cities. And along with famous London landmarks ... St Paul's Cathedral ... The Gherkin ... Buckingham Palace ... there's also a new kid on the block: The Westfield Shopping Centre.

Nestling alongside great brands such as Apple, Breitling and Gucci, the centre is a veritable A-Z of respected brands ... L'Occitane being one of them.

So... what was our project? If we said an upside down flower display that would 'float' above people's heads, you might have thought we'd had one too many Proseccos! Yet our brief from the L'Occitane team was to provide an immersive floral experience.

In short ... biophilia.

Have you raised your eyebrows with this word? Well, we can enlighten you!

Biophilia simply means a love of nature, and focuses on our innate attraction to nature and natural processes. Which is very much L'Occitane's ethos.

We gathered over 200 blooms, each of which had to be individually placed in an upside down position, which would be displayed above one of the key retail areas of this particular branch of L'Occitane. As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words, so the photos taken of this installation should really do the talking.

Once we'd completed this project in the spectacular surroundings of this keenly-positioned L'Occitane store, we felt as warm as the Provence sun and we let the rich yellow colours of the immortelle flowers, one of L’Occitane’s favoured natural ingredients.

So… for the time being, enjoy the sumptuous images of the L’Occitane store and our handiwork..(spot our beautiful flower wall made an appearance on the grand opening!). And … watch … this … space!
